Stay-Lite Lighting Announced as PLASMA's 2009 Company of the Year |
The Professional Lighting and Sign Management Companies of America (PLASMA) have presented the first annual PLASMA Company of the Year award to Stay-Lite Lighting. Stay-Lite Lighting based in Pewaukee, WI has demonstrated strong leadership and support of PLASMA’s mission. When PLASMA was formed in 2002, Stay-Lite Lighting was performing service within its self-performing region in the upper-Midwest. They have used the PLASMA network to help build their national service business and they are now the leading nationwide service provider within the PLASMA network. Recently, Stay-Lite Lighting took the initiative to organize and host the first PLASMA Purchasing Summit, which allowed members to identify more than $300,000 in annual savings. Stay-Lite Lighting actively promotes the PLASMA network locally and nationally. They are a charter member of PLASMA and owner, Kirk Tuson is the immediate Past President of PLASMA’s Board of Directors.
Stay-Lite Lighting has been in business since 1970 with additional locations established in 1999, 2001 and 2006. A professional management team was assembled and developed over the past 5 years and in that time, the team has recorded 5 straight years of profitable growth. They were awarded Wisconsin’s Future 50 Award in 2008 and the Milwaukee Business Journal’s Fastest Growing Firm Award in 2009. One of the innovative ways that Stay-Lite Lighting has grown is by launching the EnvironLITE Award. This recognizes customers for reducing their energy consumption by upgrading lighting systems. This marketing and promotional initiative supports Stay-Lite’s lighting upgrade business and also recognizes its clients for investing in energy savings lighting upgrades.
PLASMA is a national alliance of independently-owned service providers offering regional and national clients the highest level of service, workmanship and expertise for all of their lighting and signage needs, anytime, anywhere.
