WESTBROOK’S CONSERVATION LIGHTING HOSTS PLASMA’S FALL MEETING
Professional Lighting and Sign Management Companies of America (PLASMA)
recently held its Fall Meeting in Portland, Maine, September 9-11,
where 20 professionals from the lighting and sign management industry
gathered. Conservation Lighting of Westbrook, Maine hosted the meeting
which included a tour of its facility and a review of the local and
regional recycling and hazardous waste disposal requirements. “We were
honored to recently host the PLASMA fall 2008 meeting,” said Wayne
Usher, Operations Manager for Conservation Lighting. “The meeting was
a welcome opportunity to show fellow PLASMA members our little corner
of the country.” Conservation Lighting services Maine, New Hampshire
and Northeastern Massachusetts.
Those attending participated in open forums on industry news, the
latest technologies and their applications as well as had the
opportunity to share best business practices. The fall meeting also
welcomed four new members: Efficient Lighting and Maintenance of
Brookfield, CT, Litech Lighting Management Services of Columbus, OH,
LRE/Royal Electrical Contractors of Little Rock, AR and Superior
Lighting of Omaha, NE.
Future dates for PLASMA include the Annual Meeting to be held March
24-26, 2009 in Philadelphia, PA and the Fall Meeting scheduled for
September 29-October 1, 2009 in Milwaukee, WI.

offering regional and national clients the highest level of service,
workmanship and expertise for all of their lighting and signage needs,
