PLASMA Hires Offinger Management Company
The Professional Lighting and Sign Management Companies of America (PLASMA) recently hired Offinger Management Company to handle its day-to-day operations. With its primary headquarters in Zanesville, Ohio and a satellite office in Columbus, Ohio, Offinger has 30 employees. Offering its clients association, event, financial, communications and general office management, Offinger has been in business for more than 75 years. Offinger holds dual professional accreditation by the Association Management Company Institute and the American Society of Association Executives and is a member of the International Association of Exhibitions and Events.
Offinger offers PLASMA state-of-the-art technology and a streamlined workflow operation. Offinger has assembled a professional, experienced staff to ensure all of PLASMA’s current association management, event management and business services needs are fulfilled as well as helping PLASMA plan and reach future goals.
Amber Walls will remain as PLASMA’s executive director. While new to Offinger, Amber has worked for PLASMA for three years, acting first as the administrative executive and then appointed to the executive director position in 2007. In addition to a hospitality management degree from Ohio University, she has five years of event planning experience, has been in the lighting industry for four years and in June 2008, received the Certified Senior Lighting Technician designation.
PLASMA is a national alliance of independently owned service providers offering regional and national clients the highest level of service, workmanship and expertise for all of their lighting and signage needs, anytime, anywhere.
